On essays and research papers.

I've always preferred writing research/experimental papers to essays. Why? Research/experimental papers are more structured and always headed in one direction. (eg. Title, participants, method, discussion, results, etc)

You can't really go wrong with that. As for assays, its so open ended. While some may feel its a good thing - it gives you plenty of space to maneuver and options to explore, i don't exactly like it. perhaps not in this context when its graded and every single point you make has to be relevant to the topic.

Okay bitching over. Time to get started.

I need to find Motivation.

so today if you happened to be at or around JCU at around 12+ noon, you would have noticed a peculiar sight. 3 guys pushing a car behind with a girl inside it steering, on the main road, towards SPC petrol kiosk.

that would be me, jem, yr and rach. hahahhaha.

so what happened was that i drove to school in the morning, and for some reason i left my headlights on and went to class. came back down after that and found out that i couldn't start the engine - the battery was dead. tried jumpstarting the engine with jumper cables using jolene's car battery but to no avail as well.

last resort?
pushing the car to SPC.

hahah it must've been quite a sight for the people around the busstop and drivers who drove past us. quite hilarious actually.

so we actually pushed the car to SPC and replaced the battery. 135 bucks. quite chor, but oh well, my fault. hard lesson learnt!

just thought i'd start updating again, as and when i feel like it. and it so happens that today, i feel like it.

so i caught harry potter today, wasn't really fantastic per se, considering it was the "grand finale". maybe to me its still a kiddy show with kiddy action effects. think 2 people pointing a wand at each other with coloured lights emitting from it - one red one green, pushing each other left and right. at least lightsabers look cooler. right right. i know its harry potter, so i'll let it pass.

had dinner after that which consisted of 3 dishes. 1 pomfret, 1 oyster egg omelette, and 1 sambal mussels. Total cost = 106 bucks. Wtf? I've never eaten zi char this ex. The pomfret itself costed 60 bucks, even more expensive than a crab. Museels and omelette costed 40, which imo, is also very exorbitant. Its crazy.

anyhow, jem and rach finally found their dream dog after searching for a pretty long time. a golden retriever! free somemore. because its owner doesnt want it. what kinda fucked up owner is that. seriously why do these animals have to be subject to humans' whims and wills?
