well imo, there are actually two sides to this coin.
im gonna assume that "make a relationship work" means smooth sailing.

so,
1. Yes, we need drama to make r/ships work. Why? Because most people have this tendency to feel that the r/ship is mundane and without any purpose EVEN when everything is going fine and without any setbacks.
Nothing happening = "hey whats up today?", "doing nothing. u?", "doing nothing too."
eventually, both sides get bored of each other and break up, even though no one did anything politically wrong.

So dramas essentially give couples something to work on, which in turn strengthens their bonds and feelings.

2. No, we do not need drama to make r/ships work. Who would prefer a dramatic r/ship to a smooth sailing one? Everyone wants the easy way out, do they not? Why should r/ships be based on dramas (hurdles) in order to work? In addition, more drama does not equate to a better r/ship. However it would most probably bring about a break up in the end.

so yea well in the end, "A little drama is essential to make r/ships work" is still the politically correct answer.

ok that was on a general basis.
now on to the more personal stuff.
no lah im not emo.
but i just felt that things which start me thinking should warrant a proper post.

as i told her before, i feel that people(girls) would like me as a close/best friend, but never as a lover.
because i think i suck at being one.

just so many factors lah.
not being able to spend time with her due to work
not being romantic and all that.
not giving her enough attention
not taking initiatives most of the time
not being senstive enough
and the list goes on.

oh well, now y`all know that fysh aint bf material. lol.

and yea when its nonsense, i know every goddamned thing available to mankind.
but for r/ships, its another story altogether.

i dunno all those romantic stuff which ben pulls off.
i dunno how i should be like/behave in a r/ship
hell, i dont even know how to make out. lol.

but what i do know is,
i respect you for who you are, and what you do.
my feelings for you are there, and real. no doubt about it.
pms-sy or not, i'll still be here to make you smile.

and of course, what i do know for sure
