and just again today, i got this.

To all students taking IGS CDS (subject code beginning with 'G'),

Please read this email and take note. Please ignore this email if you are not the intended recipient.

This is to inform you of the following revision in para (5) under "Attendance" in the IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR IGS CDS STUDENTS dated 24 April 2006 that you received from your Subject Tutor. This new IGS regulation will take immediate effect.

When you have been absent for 2 tutorial sessions (previously was '1') without approved Leave of Absence (LOA) from your School, a Warning Letter will be sent to you via email (cc. your Care Person and Subject Tutor). A copy of the letter will also be posted to your parent/guardian.

Please be reminded that the onus is on you to keep track of your own attendance. You have been informed by your Subject Tutor that when you have been absent for 3 or more lessons without approved LOA, a “Letter of Ineligibility for Assessment” will be sent to you (cc. your Care Person, Course Manager and your parent/guardian) to state that you have failed to meet the 85% attendance requirement and, as a result, may fail the subject.
